According to a researcher (sic) at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be at the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself but the word as a whole.

Random Info of the Day
Nasa has been doing experiments with goggles which flip everything upside down, to see how astronauts would cope with being upside down due to weightlessness. To the scientists surprise, after about 3 weeks of wearing these goggles, the test subjects noticed a change in their perception. Apparently, after a prolonged exposure to this disorientation, the brain compensated and made everything seem right side up again.

Map Hit Request #1 Latvia 1-18-08.
I am looking for blog visitors from LATVIA. Why Latvia? Well I thought it would be a good choice because its a small country in Europe and its where I was born. Here is some INFO for all of the people going "Latvia? Huh?".
Map Hit Request Game.
As you can see I have a map at the bottom of my page. This map shows the location of people who visit my blog. I thought it would be cool to request visitors from a speciffic country. As soon as I get a visitor from that country, I will chose a new one. We'll see if this works.
Random Info of the Day
Some of you may be wondering "How fast does my hair grow?". Well wonder no more! Because I did the research. The average hair growth rate for a human is about .5 inches every month. The Average person has approximately 100000 hair follicles on the top of the head. After doing the math I figured out that the average person grows approximately .8 miles of hair every month. That is not including the rest of the body hair. That means that you grow almost 10 miles of hair a year and 672 miles of hair if you live to be 70. :)

Pet pieves
I just thought of a couple of things that really annoy me. The first one is when you say "Thank You" to someone and they respond with an dull "OK". OK? wtf does that mean? Sounds like they don't care for your gesture. Another one that bugs me is when you hold the door for someone and as they walk through they also have to hold the door, as if I am going to smash it in to them.

trash talk
I love living in Venice Beach. I am always surprised by the people that roam the streets. I was walking near my building with my hands full of trash bags. A man rode his bike past me, and as I was throwing away my trash, the man asked me "Anything good?". It felt really odd to actually reply to that question. I said "no" and he rode on. Weird!
